Plum Bubbles
The Body shop has new bath and body for the holidays. Rich Plum in one of the new product ranges and the site is catagorizing their Cranberry range as new but I remember this from last year. The Rich Plum Shimmering Bath Bubbles are pictured on the right
**RejuvaWand Update**
I like this RejuvaWand but I need WAAAAAAY more "RejuvaGel". It makes the wand glide smoothly and you need to use a lot of it. The site also says that it was "created to improve the transmission of light from the RejuvaWand to the skin", so you do need it. You only get 2oz and I think it will all be gone in another week. I wonder if I could use Aloe Vera gel.....another 2oz of RejuvaGel will cost me $35(!)

Happy Monday!
Hey! What happened to October? I can't believe it's almost over:( In two more months it's goodbye 2007 and hello 2008. I 'm not sorry about that because most of 2007 sucked for me. I do plan to make the most of these last two months and that includes getting great skin.
I hope the RejuvaWand can help me with this. I'm using it in conjuction with my L'Oreal Dermo-Expertise ReNoviste Glycolic Peel Kit.
The RejuvaWand is supposed to "help you fight the effects of time by promoting and stimulating the skin's own rejuvenation process", and it uses "cool light technology" to do this. At least that's what their web site says. There's a great video on the RejuvaWand home page that explains it all.
You're supposed to see signifigant results in 6 weeks. So on December 8th I hope to be dazzled by great new skin. I'll keep you posted...

Review : Kinerase
I have weird combination skin - oil slick on the forehead, nose and chin; Sahara Desert on my cheeks. So I was excited and delighted to try Kinerase's Ultimate Day Moisturizer and Ultimate Night Moisturizer.
According to the site, both of these products are "ideal for more mature consumers with dry skin". I'm not a mature consumer, I just have a couple of stubborn dry patches. If that describes you too, I suggest you give these creams a try (and they are creams, not lotions). The Ultimate Day Moisturizer (pictured on the right) is "specifically formulated with sun-light activated technology and contains the highest concentration of kinetin to improve skin texture and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles."
All I know is that it was uber moisturizing and went on without feeling greasy or making my face look shiny. The scent was also very light. I've only used it on my cheeks since Saturday and can already tell the difference when I wash my face - no more tightness on my cheeks after washing, they don't get shiny later in the day, and the skin there looks brighter and smoother.
I've been using it in conjunction with the Ultimate Night Moisturizer which "creates an 8-hour moisture reservoir for overnight skin rejuvenation and rehydration". You're telling me. After five days I can tell the difference. I didn't use this on my whole face either, just my cheeks. The cream is very thick, a dab will do ya.
If you've clicked the links you'll notice that both of these products retail at Kinerase.com for $125 a tube. Yes, you read that correctly. This is the most expensive facial product I've ever used, but the results are spectacular after only five days. This is one of those instances of getting what you pay for.
Want to try Kinerase Ultimate Day Moisturizer for yourself? Get a free sample while supplies last by emailing your First and Last name and address to KineraseSample@glam.com. If you opt-in for a free sample you will receive future email offers from Kinerase. Glam will only share your name and email with Kinerase, NOT your address.

I'm back!
Hello everyone. Sorry I took so much time off. I have a new job and it has been taking up ALL of my time. Things have settled down a bit so I'm back, but back with some sad news.
The Body Shop's founder Anita Roddick died on Monday night after suffering a major brain hemorrhage. She was 64.
She opened her first Body Shop outlet in 1976 in Brighton, southern England.
She was know to joke that the dark green that became the companies trademak color was chosen only because it was the one color that could cover the mold on the walls of her first shop. That is EXACTLY how I would have solved that problem!
Thank you so much Anita for Satsuma shower gel, unscented bubble bath and Tea Tree face wash.

I Love Bubble Baths!
I LOVE bubble baths and bath tubs, so I've decided to go on and on about them in this post:)
Let's get things rolling with Sunday night's bubble bath product, 100% Pure's Strawberry Lemonade Shower Gel. It created fluffy, long lasting bubbles and filled my bathroom with the sunshiny fragrance of strawberry lemonade. I bought my bottle from C.O. Bigelow in Water Tower for $13.
Today's tub is the Kaos geo 180. This model is embedded in the floor. That circular thing on the ceiling above the tub? It's the faucet. Yeah, you read correctly. The water comes down in over 20 individual streams and fills the tub. I need a house with 31 bathrooms, so I can bathe in a different bathroom enviroment every day.
I just have to add just one more pic to start your Monday off right...
Here is Johnny Depp in my favorite scene from "From Hell", a great thriller about Jack the Ripper by The Hughes Brothers. The first time I watched the movie was shocked and delighted to see the lead character, a male lead character no less, turn to a relaxing bath to end the day. I say "relaxing bath" because he had his absinthe setup right there next to the tub. So you know he planned to stay in there for a while:)
Have a beauty full Monday and take a bubble bath tonight if you can!
