New Olay Ribbons...

I want this! It's the new Olay Body Wash Plus Spa Exfoliating Ribbons body wash. I LOVE the Cream Ribbons wash, I used up my bottle last night:( It left my skin sooooo soft and smooth, it's fantastic! I hope this works like that. I can't wait to try it. Here's the description for the Olay website:

"Olay body wash plus spa exfoliating ribbons is the first body wash to add an actual ribbon of seaweed extract and micro beads you can feel - the same ingredients used in many of today's top spas. The luxurious, fragrant lather swirls across your body, removing dry skin cells to reveal beautiful, velvety smooth skin. It's gentle enough for daily use."

The Olay Body Wash Plus Spa Exfoliating Ribbons" Spa Discovery website is also great. There are lots of spa focused articles, a "spa music" player and more. Click on over when you want to "spa out".

Whoa!

Isn't this pretty! I thought so too. It's the new Secret De Vie Ultimate Cellular Reviving Creme from Lancome. There's an eye cream too, but let's talk about this first.

According to Lancome (the following is from their website):

"It started in the Lancôme Laboratories with the urge to achieve “skin rebirth.”
Then came an awesome discovery: Sucre Vital™, a magical nutrient that fuels life in a hostile undersea world. Recreated by Lancôme scientists, this fuel and five other life-sustaining ingredients form Extrait de Vie™, a powerful concentrate that provides the skin with virtually everything it needs to thrive.

This exceptional skin reviving cream indulges your senses while it pampers your skin with instant softness and visible radiance. Your skin appears re-invigorated, visibly smoother, firmer and more even-toned."

What's all this “skin rebirthin' " beauty gonna cost you? It can be yours for the low, low price of $240 for a 1.7oz. jar! The 3.4 oz. jar will run you $400. (Insert Tex Avery type facial response here)

This is worse (or better?) than Creme de le Mer at $125 for a 1oz. jar or Kinerase Ultimate Day Moisturizer for $125 per 2.8oz. tube.

I haven't tried it so I don't know how it works but that is a LOT of dough for a face cream.

What about that eye cream you say? The Secret De Vie Ultimate Cellular Reviving Creme Eye is a steal at only $140 for a .5oz. jar.
